St. Martha’s Hall is seeking a full-time Children’s Advocate to support our therapeutic Children’s Program. Responsibilities include conducting children’s intakes and developing family goals. Assisting in school enrollment and transportation. Facilitating twice-weekly support groups for children ages 9+, weekly parenting support group, and self-care group for women. Two evenings a week are required.
A Masters degree in Social Work, Child Development, Education or a related field is required. Knowledge of developmental milestones, play therapy, emotional regulation, parenting discipline strategies and the dynamics of violence against women and children. Must have car and driver’s license, and be 21 years of age.

Two Weekend, Part-time Support Worker/Advocates
St. Martha’s is seeking two Weekend, Part-time Support Worker/Advocates. One position is for the Saturday evening shift, 3-11:30 p.m., and the other is for the Sunday day shift, 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Responsibilities include providing general support services such as shelter, food, clothing, and safety to clients in a shelter care program for abused women and their children. Direct services in accordance with agency policies and procedures; provide crisis intervention support by phone and in person; provide advocacy services for clients; and perform other related work as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field. Knowledge of women’s issues and the dynamics of family violence are helpful. Must have driver’s license, car and be 21 years of age.
