We Are Hiring!

Looking for Our Missing Pieces

St. Martha’s Hall is seeking two full-time Women’s Advocates in our shelter!

The role of the Women’s Advocate is to support and empower women as they work to build a new life, free from violence. Using a trauma-informed lens, these positions work directly with women and to provide crisis intervention, community referrals, basic necessities, and help maintain a safe environment.

Take a look at this video from a former resident to see the impact you could make: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MSofTWBLG8

The following positions within a shelter setting are available:

  • Women’s Advocate, Sunday-Thursday, 7:00am-3:30pm
  • Women’s Advocate, Tuesday-Saturday, 3:00pm-11:30pm

St. Martha’s Hall offers equitable pay commensurate with the work required and competitive benefits, including a 403b match. Recognizing the high rate of burn-out in our field, St. Martha’s Hall also offers additional benefits, such as wellness leave to prevent burnout, a flexible, considerate work environment, additional paid holidays, and flex time. We work hard to recognize our employees and offer a holistic environment that values quality of life of every person living and working at St. Martha’s Hall.

Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred but not required.  Knowledge of women’s issues and the dynamics of family violence is preferred.  Must be at least 21 years of age, have a car, and valid driver’s license and insurance.
