Women’s Advocate, Shelter, Tuesday-Saturday 3:00pm-11:30pm
The role of the Women’s Shelter Advocate is to support and empower women as they work to build a new life, free from violence. Using a trauma-informed lens, this position works directly with women in our shelter, providing crisis intervention, community referrals, basic necessities, and helping maintain a safe environment for residents.
Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred but not required. Knowledge of women’s issues and the dynamics of family violence is preferred. Successful candidates for this position will be flexible, empathetic, willing to work as part of a team, able to build rapport, and dedicated to the work of breaking the cycle of domestic violence.
Must be at least 21 years of age, and have a car, a valid driver’s license, and insurance.

Development Coordinator, Location Varies, Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, some evenings/weekends possible
The Development Coordinator Position will be involved with stewardship activities related to non-profit fundraising and relationship management, including working with a team to create and implement the fundraising development and communications strategy, as well as donor and grant research and tracking. As part of the St. Martha’s Hall team, the Development Coordinator will advocate for the equality, dignity, and humanity of all people by working for social justice.
Bachelor’s Degree and some experience in fundraising and project organization required. Applicants should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient in the use of MS Office and have the ability to use various databases such as Salesforce and MailChimp. Successful candidates for this position will have the ability to prioritize and multi-task with attention to detail and organization, as well as flexibility, a willingness to pitch in where needed, and a dedication to survivors and breaking the cycle of domestic violence.
