Saint Martha’s is base camp when you’re climbing Everest.
Saint Martha’s is a St. Louis nonprofit program that provides shelter, resources, and compassionate care for women and children experiencing domestic violence. Since opening on May 1, 1983, we’ve helped over 7,000 women and their children safely leave their abusers and reclaim their lives.

Mission
Guided by the social justice teachings of Jesus Christ, Saint Martha’s serves women and children impacted by domestic violence by providing shelter and resources.
Vision
Saint Martha’s envisions a future where domestic violence is no longer a threat to women and their children.
Values
How We Help
Saint Martha’s provides women in crisis—and their children—the services they need, without judgment, no matter the circumstances.
She Served. So We Serve.
A devoted friend of Jesus, Saint Martha expressed her faith through service. We follow in her footsteps, serving women and children impacted by domestic violence since 1983.
